Réka Borbás is a developmental neuroscientist at the University of Zurich and part of the Developmental Neuroscience Unit of the JCPYD. Réka studies how our social environment affects our emotions and brain development. She earned her PhD in Psychology from the University of Basel in 2022. Her research looks at brain activity in children, teens, and their parents to understand how they think about others. She works on projects like KidCAT and SMILIES to learn how family relationships influence behavior and brain function, exploring how we resemble those we are closest to and how social interactions shape who we are.
